How SiteTagWatch fetches your pages

SiteTagWatch checks only manually supplied URLs on an approved, ownership-verified hostname. It is not a whole-site crawler.

Robots rules, crawl delay, same-host serialization and at least one second between request starts apply. A check follows at most three redirects, only on the same hostname and protocol. The total request budget includes robots and redirect requests.

Each request, including streamed body reading, is limited to eight seconds; the whole check is limited to 45 seconds and a 1 MB body budget. We only inspect supported server HTML/headers. Unsupported or incomplete sources remain Unknown rather than becoming missing-tag claims.

You can pause monitoring in Settings. Already-sent packets cannot be recalled; late results are discarded after pause/deletion.
